Position Objective

A progressive use of CAD equipment and FEA software to design tooling and equipment necessary in order to manufacture components. Ability to create and maintain top down assemblies and complex surface models. Design weld fixtures for welded assemblies comprised of metal stampings, tubing and machined parts. Makes simple decisions, but refers most questions/problems to tooling engineer or supervisor. Has a solid understanding of design techniques and familiarity with engineering terminology. Possesses mechanical aptitude with ability to complete basic mathematical calculations. Has familiarity with CAD/CAM equipment and relationship of CAD to CAM. 

These positions require safe work practices that are clearly defined within company and department specific safety procedures. 

This position offers several shift options, including:
1st shift 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. Monday - Friday
2nd shift 12:30 p.m. – 11:00 p.m. Monday – Thursday, shift premium applies.
2nd shift 3:45 p.m. – 2:15 a.m. Monday – Thursday, shift premium applies.
Weekend shift: 3/12-hour (36 hours/week) shift; compensated at 40 hours with shift premium.
Weekend day shift: 5:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
Weekend night shift: 5:00 p.m. – 5:30 a.m. Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
